Hit The Road, Jack!

Hey friends!

We’ll keep this post short and sweet, but we wanted to announce that we’ll be resuming our cross-country walk and hitting the road again next weekend, April 13-14. Due to transportation availability and a few other factors, this is pretty short notice for everyone (including us), but we’re extremely eager to be getting back on the road soon.

We’re sad to be leaving Sioux Falls again, but we appreciate the friendships we were able to rekindle while we were here. We also appreciate everything people—particularly our parents—have done for us since we’ve been back. And most of all, we appreciate the prayers of support and words of encouragement that our friends and family have offered over the past several months.

We’ll have more regular updates coming soon now that we’re hitting the road again. Needless to say, we are excited. Thanks for sticking around after our four-month hiatus, and feel free to keep the prayers coming. They’re always welcome in our book.

  1. Great
    Glad to hear that.
That is the same week end I will begin my walk for cancer awareness. I will only be walking about 30 miles. I will begin on April 14th.
God bless and be safe. My prayers are with you. Remember what Matt. 19:26 says.

You can look it up. I’m using that for my walk.

    • Thanks Gary! We’re excited for you and your walk. Don’t say you’ll “ONLY be walking about 30 miles,” though. That’s more than most people will get out and walk in a year, especially the way you’re doing it. We’ll be praying for you on your journey!

      • Update on my health.
Today is the first day since broke my leg, that I am able to do a steady walk without my cane. THANK GOD FOR THAT

I will be finishing my walk I in late August. I bought a All-Terrain Wagon. The trail I will be on is hard topped and packed lime stone. I will be using June and July for training and getting my strength back.

Also, I sent the church where you stayed at a very special thank you. I know what it means when your walking all day and need a safe place to camp or stay.
Where are you now on your walk
        God Bless

  2. God bless you and keep you in His care! Wishing you safe and fulfilling travels, to His glory.

    • Thanks so much, Eric! Good to see you at OTA, and hopefully we can sit down and chat sometime when we make our way back to Sioux Falls. Hope things are going well with you and your family!

  3. Glad to hear your journey is continuing. We pray for you every day. This is a really significant step you’re taking. I know angels are watching over you.

  4. Looking forward to seeing more photos and reading about your journey. I still say this is the best way to see this great country that God created for us, 2 feet at a time. Good way to spend quality time with God to.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
